    It is not possible to install TWRP with locked bootloader. Unlock bootloader is not possible any more on all Huawei and Honor Phones. So what is this guide for? 😉

      yes, are right. a bootloader is always necessary to root any smartphone. so you have to unlock the bootloader first.
