Galaxy Note 9 Oreo users can now update to Android Pie in Germany

Germany was the first market where Samsung released the Note 9 Pie update, one a half week ago Samsung rolled out stable Android Pie update for Galaxy Note 9 users in Germany those who part in the Pie beta program.

Now Samsung finally released the Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie update for users on Android Oreo (those who didn’t take part in the Pie beta program), the update starting with the UAE and some neighboring countries.

The software version is getting bumped to N960FXXU2CSA2, which may also be expanded to other countries later on. The new update also brings January 2019 security patch. The size of the update is 1592.26 MB.

If you own a Galaxy Note 9 and reside in the Germany, you can check if the update is available by going into the Settings » Software update menu and tapping the Download updates manually option.
